Tasting Wine at 1199 Event Tickets On Sale Soon – Seats are Limited!
Posted by: | Comments“Tasting Wine at 1199” will be held on Saturday April 10th , from 6-8pm.
Tickets are only $30 per person and are sold in the office or by Steve starting MARCH 10th.
I would like to thank all of you who were able to join us for this special event last year. Ask around. There were 20 wines to taste, some tasty foods, chocolates and breads, and I believe a good time was had by all in attendance. There will be Music by Big Al’s Big Band following the wine tasting.
This event is limited to 100 people!
Our door prizes this year are a bottle of Stag’s Leap wine cellars Cabernet Sauvignon, and a bottle of Rombauer Zinfandel.

There are a few new chain restaurants in town, and if you dine out often for lunch, I’m sure you’ve noticed your average lunch check going up and up, sometimes pushing $11per person or better.

Poker and NASCAR Benefit Elks Charities BIGTIME!
Posted by: | CommentsThe “Dakota Territory Poker Tournament” brought to us by Roughrider Poker Tour was held the last weekend in January and we were able to raise over $3,200 for Elks charities.
The Daytona 500 Party was a huge success raising $836 for Camp Grassick, dedicated for a new lawn tractor.
There were over 110 people in attendance, A Wild Inspire Sports Party, Hot Wheels races, a bake sale, Great Chili, and a huge selection of prizes (everyone received at least 1 prize) and many great silent auction items thanks to these fine sponsors: Lowe’s Home Improvement, Butler Machinery, Eide Ford, Modern Hair Works, Ressler Chevrolet, North Dakota Hospitality Association, Cold Stone Creamery, Northbrook MVP, University of Mary, Burger King, Dominos Pizza, Interstate Batteries A&B Pizza, American Bank Center, National Guard, All Pro Sportswear, The Finder, U.S. Army, Spa Retreat, Dakota Zoo, Aflac, Bistro, Wayne Mattern DDS, Praxair, Bruce Ellingson, Fiesta Villa, McQuade Distributing, Ed Phillips and Sons, Republic Distributing, Northwest Beverages, Larry Larson, and STAN PUKLICH CHEVROLET!

Bands scheduled to appear in March

Friday March 6th The Radio Stars will play on the Lodge floor. These guys play country, western, Folk and Rock for your listening pleasure. They have been seen and heard on the national broadcast of “A Prairie Home Companion” and the Norsk Host Fest.
Saturday March 7th will feature great country music with Rocky Top on the Lodge floor.
Friday and Saturday, March 12th &13th, Bill Schott is back with his stunning tribute to Elvis, and Tim Persell’s masterful tribute to Neil Diamond singing live on the lodge floor!! What a great Show! No cover charge. Show starts around 8pm. (Dine early for best seating, dining room opens at 5:30) With a dance to follow!
The Lowdown Dirty Dogs will play in the TR Lounge at Elks 1199 on March 20th. Friday March 26th Something Nu will perform on the Lodge floor.
Saturday March 27th is installation of officers with another night of great music by the Front Fenders! Music starts at 7:30.
Get out and dance this month!!!!!
