Elks Drug Awareness Program
ByI would like to thank Jim Lindseth for giving the Elks Drug Awareness Program the opportunity to participate in the Boy Scouts 100th anniversary celebration.
We were given the chance to setup a booth at the Capital during their celebration and distribute over 1000 pieces of Elks Drug Awareness bookmarks and Red Ribbons.
We gave away several hundred coloring books, stickers and some Tootsie Rolls to the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts in attendance.
We provided many informational pamphlets to parents, Scout Leaders and the public as well.
We couldn’t have done it without the help of several volunteers: Pam Whiteley, Mary Kraft and Marina Brackel all helped with this wonderful event and I thank you and appreciate your help.
