Elks Lodge 1199 – 100th Anniversary Banquet

“The Grand Lodge, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the United States of America, To whom it may concern, Know ye, that the Grand Lodge of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, at a regular session held on the 15th day of July, 1910, when the application of Brothers F.W. Evans, R.L. Best, T.R. Mockler, H.A. Barwind, S.L. Hill, has granted a Charter for a Lodge to be known as Bismarck Lodge No. 1199 and to hold its sessions in the city of Bismarck, No. Dak.”

The paragraph above is a quote of the words that appear on the charter hanging in our lodge room. Thursday, July 15, 2010 will mark exactly 100 years since our lodge received its charter from the Grand Lodge. This will be a very special day for us and we will be celebrating it in a very special way.

Make plans to join us for a banquet featuring your choice of prime rib, shrimp, or orange roughy served with a fresh house salad, steaming hot baked potato, crisp relishes, and garlic toast. Exquisite wines will be served to help us toast this very special occasion, and good old-fashioned peach cobbler will bring back happy memories of days gone by. After the banquet and program, you can dance the night away with special music featuring “60 Years of Rock and Roll.” Ricky D and the Elvis Tribute Band & The 50 Years Rock & Roll Show.
